2004 Ford F-150 (Sunshine)

By now, you probably know that if it’s either a truck or yellow, then it’s my wife’s.  This one was hers from the very beginning.

When we moved out to the middle of the desert, we were about a mile off the main drag down a dirt road.  It was a pretty rough road, and when it would rain, then it could get really bad.  Often after a rain, the washes that crossed the road would flow like crazy, and often create major washed-out areas.  Sometimes they could be as much as a 1 foot drop.  Normal cars couldn’t get through, and at the time she was driving an SUV as her everyday car.  We decided that she needed another choice for the bad weather and even worse roads.

She decided that she wanted a truck.  When we were looking, she found this one.  Bright yellow with a matching cover and she was sold on it.  We got her some special wheels and bought it.  This became her everyday driver and she drove it for about 8 years.  Not long after we got the truck, she had a decal designed for the back which was a big sunshine.  That became the name of her truck and she loved it.
