This is a great car! I bought it in 2008, 9 years after it was delivered to the dealership. It turns out that the dealer was a car collector, and he kept this car in his own inventory for 9 years. When I bought the car, it had 77 miles on it. Not only that, but since it was the first time the car was actually sold, it came with a full warranty! Fortunately, I never needed to use the warranty – I never had the slightest problem with the car.
Once again – it’s a yellow car, therefore it belonged to my wife. She also had a Prowler, which is another open wheel car. That’s where the similarity ended. This car came with a 351 Ford motor and it was a screamer. It also was built so low to the ground that it cornered like it was on rails.
All in all, it was just fun to drive. Driving down the road, you got a good view of the left front wheel. You’d watch the wheel bouncing up and down going down the road, but the ride was still very smooth. It was also fun that it was so rare that very few people even knew what it was or had ever heard of the brand Panoz.
