1971 Mr. Norm’s GSS Demon – Butterscotch

1971 Mr. Norm's GSS Demon - Butterscotch

I wish I had more pictures of this car, because it was a really nice example of an original 1971 Mr. Norm 71 GSS Demon.  I found the car on Ebay.  The most impressive thing about this car was the fact that it came with all of the original documentation.  It even had the original dealer packet from Grand Spaulding Dodge.

By the time I bought it, a few modifications had been made.  Nothing major, but a few little things had been changed.  It was obvious that at one point someone had put a 4-speed transmission in.  The original under-dash gauges from Mr. Norm were still there as well.

The color is certainly not my favorite, but it looked good on the GSS.  I drove the car and never did any work on it.  When I sold the car, I managed to keep in touch with the buyer over the next few years and he was always glad to show me the changes he had made.  He was slowly bringing it back to its original condition.

The documentation was amazing.  I have attached a couple examples – it even contains letters written between the original buyer and Grand Spaulding Dodge.  I wish more of my cars had this much documentation!
