1971 Ford Torino

By 1971 most of the muscle cars were gone – but apparently Ford didn’t get the message. With its NASCAR-inspired body, this very rare 1971 Ford Torino Cobra is one of only 339 made with the 429ci, 370 horsepower Cobra Jet Ram Air engine with the Cobra Jet C-6 automatic. Finished in Grabber Yellow, this Cobra came out of Southern California equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, Traction-Lok differential, console, tachometer and Magnum 500 wheels with Firestone Wide Ovals. The Shaker Hood, front spoiler and the rare rear window slats complete the package. This car has won numerous First Place trophies and has been driven long distances to many shows. It really drives just as well as it looks. The original numbers-matching engine is still in the car and the car’s authenticity and originality is documented by a deluxe Marti Report.
