1969 Mustang – Modern Muscle

This 1969 Modern Muscle Pro Touring Mustang is one of my favorite “Restomod” cars.  The restomod is a relatively recent phenomenon in the collector-car world. As a counterpoint to the “survivor” craze, these new cars mix old and new technology to create the best of both worlds, matching classic styling with modern comfort, performance and reliability.  Old style design with all the latest goodies and upgrades make these cars beautiful to look at, but also fun to drive.  Who wouldn’t want a 50 year old car that drives like a brand new one?

I have always enjoyed having other people drive my cars.  Nobody gets more satisfaction that I do seeing people drive cars that they may never have a chance to experience.  This car is a bit of a challenge, though.  It is a wicked fast car, and can get you into trouble very fast if you aren’t used to this kind of horsepower.  I considered it to be one of my most dangerous (fun) cars because of the tremendous power.  I was very careful who I would let drive this one.  Here’s the story on this car –
