1969 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible – Green

This is a real deal numbers matching ’69 GTS Dart Convertible. I’m sure many reading this will know just how rare this car is but for those who may not it is 1 of 34 GTS Convertible cars built for US production in 1969 with the big block 383 motor and 4 speed transmission, making it one of the lowest production Mopar Muscle Cars ever built.

That 1 of 34 number while low doesn’t quite tell the whole story about this particular car. It is quite possibly the only one built that was ordered with the top axle package (D57) 3.91 sure-grip rear end and Radio Delete from the factory!

That’s not all that makes this car stand apart from the other 33 that were built:

This GTS convertible is thought to have dealer installed air conditioning. There is no way to confirm this as I have no paperwork to back it up. Therefore I will not swear it to be true, but I can say that some very knowledgeable Mopar collectors have seen the car agree that it looks to be original. The fact that the car was ordered with tinted windows and has an original (not repo) air temp decal on the right rear quarter glass tend back this up.

While this is a nicely optioned Big Block 4 speed Convertible GTS it is by no means a show car. It is basically a low mileage un-restored, mostly untouched original driver.

The car is documented with the original fender tag and perfect broadcast sheet. All body numbers are intact and match.
